Off to the Tower

A wonderful big band dance at the Tower ballroom in Middlesborough - we lugged all the gear up two flights of stairs and set up down one end of a really lovely hall - we've played there before as Kal's Kats for a swing dance evening earlier in the year which was great fun, but being ballroom dancers, then we knew that The Kalamazoo Dance Band set up would pique their interest even more.

We played a really lovely selection of ballroom, sequence, latin and jive and had the floor full every time which is always such a lovely thing to behold.

Laura Brookes sang her heart out as usual and I loved singing 'Something Stupid' with her.

We will be back soon for another event and as Kal's Kats, but as our Great Gatsby style 20's night which will be great fun.
