Soul and Motown hits the swing

Well now, as many of you will know, we started with our first band line up Kal's Kats, literally 4 years ago which was quickly followed by our Glenn Miller style 40's band The Kalamazoo Dance Band about 6 months after that, and then more recently over the last year, turned up the heat and ventured in with our 30's and early 40's style strict tempo ballroom dancing line up - The Regency Dance Orchestra. So, what's next? well, we just started our new soul and Motown band called Soultown Kats a very vibrant and great fun line up of 7 of our musicians along with 3 vocalists (who are The Bonito Sisters and Bezz) bringing a superb selection of all those superb tunes of the 60's and 70's. We are actively rehearsing all these great songs and actually have a few gigs booked already which means we need to keep going full steam ahead.

Given our selection of bands together with our other contacts eg photographers, DJ's, Showgirls, Mobile catering options, Marquees etc means that we are now grouped under our overarching business 'Just Great Events' - which not only serves our band line ups, but literally any act or performing group/supplier to the entertainments sector. so www.justgreatevents.com is now taking bookings :-)
